After graduating from
St. Michael's College, Winooski, Vermont in 1969 with
a BA in Economics and a minor in Humanities Paul was
accepted into the MBA program at Babson College, Wellesley,
Massachusetts while simultaneously accepting a commercial
bank management training position. Since then Paul’s
experience has run the gamut of the commercial financial
sales and services industry. He has previously served
as a senior level commercial lender, national real
estate consultant, asset based lender, third party
collateral and bank participation leasing service
representative and as a real estate broker in Massachusetts,
Colorado and New Jersey. In 1973 he took all necessary
investment courses required to obtain an NYSE, NASD
and CBT license to sell, stocks, bonds and commodities.
Entrepreneurial partnership activities have included
commercial real estate mortgage consulting and property
management
Since 1991, he has operated as independent commercial mortgage banking and financial consultant principally in assisting contractors, developers, real estate entrepreneurs and business owners in obtaining financing for their various needs. Projects have included strip shopping centers, apartments, mini-warehouses, commercial office buildings, mixed-use retail, freestanding retail, hotels, restaurants, liquor stores, automobile dealerships, daycare centers, etc. Types of financing have included interim acquisition, development and construction, permanent, credit lease, hard money, ground lease, SBA, EDA etc. Other projects have included condominiums and SFR subdivision development.
In the past four (4) years after receiving a referral from a fellow member BNI, Paul became a 50% partner in Omezone International Corp., a company currently engaged in the worldwide distribution and marketing of an all natural transdermal patch that prevents its wearers from being bitten by mosquitoes, all types of flies, midges, no-see-ums, lice and even ticks. Interestingly, Paul readily admits that he could not have made the progress he has in this venture without the participation of a number of his fellow BNI members.
Paul’s wealth of knowledge and equal adeptness in underwriting both commercial real estate and business transactions allows him to think outside the box facilitating solutions for a multitude of problems. Services include financial placement and procurement, financial modeling and consulting, authoring business plans and grant proposals and serving as an expert witness.
